In the ghetto

March 8, 2011 -  7:17pm

Every morning and afternoon for a few moments are spent in the back open space.  Callaway runs around and does...well his business.  I happen to live in what some of us call the ghetto.  Don't get me wrong I love my home...the inside of my home, but from my car to the front door is a little dodgy.  Over the last year or so, since I purchased my home, I have often wondered if something were to happen, would Callaway try and protect me.  This image show just that.   He has never really aggressive or anything...I always thought he would lick people to death if someone came after me.  Or that he was just scared and he was coming to me to protect him.  As  he gets older I am realizing that is  not the case.  He is here to protect me.  I set up the camera to play around with effects and do a long exposure, and right then someone got out of their car and he heard the door slam and came and stood right next to me.  I feel safe with Callaway around, even in the ghetto.
