I don't get down to Colorado Springs very much, but I was lucky today to get paid to drive around and visit the banking locations there and meet everyone. After getting a flat tire and my wonderful fiance came to my rescue in the cold weather I was able to remember why I loved Colorado Springs. Don't get me wrong, it's a great place, but not a place I would ever want to live...again. The mountains being so close is beautiful, but the city itself is not very.....well kept. There is vandalism and trash and weeds and just the streets are not well kept. I am really trying not to sound snooty but I feel like for such a beautiful place, the city should hold to those higher standards.
But I continue to forget what a beautiful view the city does have, and I am joyfully reminded when I get to visit where I grew up.
I was not a complete slacker the last few to five months, I did take some pictures. The next few days I will throw in some extra images that I didn't take that day, but that I did in my long vacation from Project 360.
These images I took for our engagement. The camera timer is a great way to take some self portraits...
Picking up the camera.... This project has been extended due to my lack of doing the project. So I may start to make it a little different to where I can continue on this project. I think originally I bit off more than I could chew for a full 360 days straight.

It has been too long
October 26, 2011 - Too Many to catch up
So I gave up on this task and did not self-motivate enough to continue. I regret that, because I get a few great comments that people enjoyed my daily images, which I am so thankful for those people. With those comments I will attempt again.
I have a few images that I will post that are not as many as I need to catch up. But a very wonderful and wise woman told me this weekend "just start fresh, the task to catch up is to daunting" and today, I finally sit down to start over.
It was a task that I challenged myself with picking up the camera...every day...and I have failed. I failed myself. I set this goal for myself. No one forced me to start this project, and no one forced me to continue, this is all on me. I didn't have a boss that said if I do not complete this challenge I will not get paid, hence where the motivation dwindled.
In the last few months...or the last 5 months, my life has changed....DRAMATICALLY.
I got engaged to the love of my life.
and we got a puppy.... This is Bear.... he is an English Golden Retriever. He will be all white, therfore we called him Bear...like a polar bear and in the snow he looks more like one, plus he just looks sleepy all the time.
This picture I am going to sell to the Animal Shelters for their fundraising efforts. He just looks sad, and with the metal kennel he looks deprived, yet he has a suede pillow and toys and chose to go lay down there....but the image can be deceiving.
An here is the Polar Bear! His first snow was this morning, and he is just like his older brother....LOVES IT!
You forget how hard puppies are. Throw away your ability to work from home. For instance right now...it has taken me 30 minutes because the little stinky face has learned the bell to go outside and rings it every 5 minutes. You have to take him out so that he continues to use it when he needs to pee, because trust me I am so over cleaning up pee, poop and vomit....not that I have to clean up anything other than pee since I just about gag myself to throwing up from the smell, so my lovely fiance cleans it up for me. :-) He is such a good man...I really hope that carries over to when we have kids.
I am still photographing the Colorado Justice Center. It has made some progress!!! I have a new job now! I work at UMB Bank downtown off 16th and Broadway so I get to drive by this everyday to see the progress. I wish I had been there from the start so I can tell when I need to get out there and photograph.
I am loving my new job. I can work from home! It so crazy to me, but they didn't put in the employee handbook that "if you have a 13 week old puppy we suggest you limit your working from home, since you wont be very productive" Just sayin' They should add that!
Anyways, the company is amazing. I love working with the people, and the company is so great to its employees. I am very lucky for the opportunity to work for a great company in a time that so many people would take what they can get.
Anyways, I am again going to get motivated, and do what I need to do to make this blog a successful challenge.
Thank you all for your patience and thank you for following! I hope to entertain you all more.... which working downtown, now, I come in contact with a lot of entertaining things!
Love ya!
